Join High Camp Collective + Loveland Community Yoga for a 4 night, 3 day eco-retreat as we emerse ourselves in the heart of the San Juan Mountains.  Unplugging for the weekend, we will develop new tools to blend movement with nature, spirit, and playfulness. We will dive deeper into understanding our own sacred connection with the rhythm of the world around us while taking on a healthy dose of heart pumping adventure to leave our souls nourished and refreshed.

Kaity Rose teaches empowering yoga classes that focus on deepening connection to body, mind, and life-force. Offering therapeutic yoga workshops, privates, and retreats all across the globe, Kaity meets students where they are to create meaningful transformation and healing. She received her advanced credentials in Yoga Therapy through studying with Kripalu, Naropa University, and Integrative Yoga Therapy. Her Yoga Therapy sessions, classes, workshops, and retreats are designed as guided journeys of self-discovery intended to bring more balance, harmony, and peace of mind.

Ange is a yoga teacher and mindfulness business and wellness coach.  She is a trained Sound Healing Practitioner who loves to bring sound into her classes.  She is passionate about awakening transformation, living authentically and stepping onto our paths grounded in love.  Ange is inspired by nature and the energy we bring and receive in each interaction. In her classes she blends deeply integrated alignment principles with fluid vinyasa, creating a practice full of intention and self-cultivated strength with purposeful moments of pause and reflection. She encourages her students to embody their practice in the most authentic way. She incorporates the elements and energetic channels into her teachings creating space for her students to connect within. Her yoga, meditation and devotional practices have supported and helped her shift through life’s transitions; always serving as a reminder of the importance of self love, acceptance, compassion, and the power of connection.

The High Camp eco-lodge

The lodge t is nestled up at 11,300 feet but the easy 2 mile jaunt in invites any skill level and fitness to explore a place of true natural beauty. Sleeping up to 20 people and fully sustained off-solar, propane and wood-fire stoves this mountain lodge is one of the most unique in the world. Cut, built and designed by the resources found on its 320 acres - the feel of its off the grid remote escape brings its visitors minds to the moment and shows off its wild sunset and sunrise colors daily. Just bring yourself and a explorative mindset and that's all you need to have a backcountry experience worth sharing.

WEEKEND INTINERARY

Below is a loose itinerary of scheduled weekend activities. The in-between times may be spent discovering the 320 acres of remote land surrounding High Camp including hidden hammock corners, meditation overlooks or our wood-fired hot-tub.  We will also have an onsite Massage Therapist available to book a treatment of your choosing at an additional cost*

Thursday (OPTIONAL)

For those of us interested in spending a day in Telluride you may arrive a day earlier to visit this box canyon paradise. If interested, we have hike, stay and play recommendations you will be given upon confirming your early arrival. 
 

Friday:

11:00a - Coffee meet-up at Butcher & The Baker (in Telluride) before we make the 15 mile drive to the High Camp trailhead. Grab a snack to fuel your hike up!

12:00pm - Arrive at the High Camp trailhead, throw your bags into our 4x4 to be brought up to the lodge, and begin our 2 mile guided hike up to our mountain escape.

2:00p-2:30 - Welcome to your personal backcountry paradise!  The experience kicks off with a late (delicious and nutritious) lunch followed by group introduction, weekend overview, swag bag hand-out and intention-setting practice.

4:30p-6:00 - Yoga, Breathwork, + Meditation [Loveland Instructor Lead]

6:30p - Farm to Table Dinner prepared by our hosts from local Gunnison River Farms - Planted, prepared and designed by our own HCC staff.

8:00 - Bonfire conversations never felt so good, enjoy this time to get to know the group or get some early rest for the active day ahead

Saturday:

6:30a - Morning Tea & Coffee  (from local Telluride vendors) - just in time to see the breathtaking sunrise over the San Juan Mountain Range

8:00a-9:00a  - Sunrise Yoga [Loveland Instructor Lead] - Breathing into your high altitude weekend home will pose challenges but allow your practice to grow in precision and concentration. See how quick you adapt.

9:15a:  Superfood-fueled Breakfast

10:00a-2:00p:  Guided Hike through the mountain wildflowers to some of our favorite backcountry summit, Sheep Mountain - packed lunch included to enjoy at the top!

4:00p-6:00: Earth Centered Self-Care (Ayurveda + Nature Connection) [Loveland Instructor Lead]

6:30p - Farm to Table Dinner prepared by our hosts from local Gunnison River Farms - Planted, prepared and designed by our own HCC staff.

8:00-9:00p - Yoga Nidra Meditation. [Loveland Instructor Lead]

9p  - Relax and exhale with a detoxifying wood-fire sauna in the sauna house - or mix both sauna and a cold plunge to refresh your body after the days movement activity. 

Sunday:

6:30a - Morning Tea & Coffee  (from local Telluride vendors) - just in time to see the breathtaking sunrise over the San Juan Mountain Range

7:00a-8:45a:  Lead Morning Meditation  [Loveland Instructor Lead]

8:00: Superfood-fueled Breakfast. 

9am: Hike to Round Lake for a mountain yoga flow. A beautiful, leisurely 3 hour round-trip hike brings you to the base of the nearby mountains and gorgeous Round Lake. 

1:00p:  Fresh, locally sourced lunch prepared by HC staff

During our 4 days in the high alpine mountains of the San Juan National Forest we will be living off the grid in a community eco-lodge. Book by yourself (SINGLE) and let fate pair you with an amazing retreat long roommate(s). If you are coming with someone you know, book together (COUPLE/FRIENDS) and guarantee your chosen roommate (plus receive a lower rate).  Be sure to book soon - this retreat only holds 15 spots!

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION: 
     If you are joining us from out of state please fly into Montrose or Grand Junction regional airports (Denver International is also an option but does require a 6-hour one way drive to Telluride so car rental is suggested).  Shuttles from Montrose or Grand Junction to Telluride can be booked through Telluride Express .
